We've got to the stage now that Micah is 4th choice at right back behind Sagna, Zab and Clichy so surely he'll move on this window

Yes he's heavy. But I bet if he plays regularly the old Micah will return

Can't say who is to blame for Richards decline. It could be the player or manager's fault. Only an insider would know

If it's the later, we'd be blaming 2 top class managers.

I'm no insider, but I'll take a punt....Richards is to blame for Richards' lack of progress as a City player over the last few years.

Yep, I'm feeling pretty good about that assertion.

He has the physique and technique of a defender of a bygone era, but in today's game he looks outclassed by even the young 'uns coming through. "All thrust, no vector" as we say in aviation!

Id still keep Richards. He is a better option at centre half than Boyata who is just awful and can cover right back as well. His only problem is his injury record but he looked ok after coming on yesterday...certainly better option than clichy at right back.

How about we get rid of Nasty and Boyata and try Richards out as a CB for cup games.

Like it

Did you wstch the pre-season games? He has NOT looked a better option than Clichy at right back at all IMO ...

Only one person can be blamed for the excess bulk weighing Micah Richards down .... Thats Micah Richards .... Just get some weight off lad and that'd be a start in the right direction!!!

Knocked a bit more money off any possible move on Sunday.

Came on had no idea what to do, where to position himself and couldn't even be arsed tracking back.

Shame but he's truly awful now and has nothing to offer. If we can't sell then just fire him on loan for 6 months perhaps regular game time may help but I sadly doubt it.

more if you include England managers not picking him too.
