His pride meant he wasn't going to pick a journeyman and that played a part in the defeat. Hatton of old would have been in close banging away but tonight he was going for the big KO to the chin and kept missing. It wasn't the fight to change the style that had made him a world champion. He looked solid enough if rusty and in the end all those misses left him with nothing in the tank when he got caught with a solid shot.

Clearly he felt like he needed to come back though, hopefully that will give him some sort of peace of mind. He gave it a shot, it didn't work out, but at least he tried.
