Never should have come back.

Who are you to tell him that? Who is anyone to have told him that?

What I think BOB means is probably what I and other's think on here as in hope this doesn't send him into another depression that could ruin his life altogether. Hope I'm wrong.
Basically that.

At least training kept him off the coke for a while.

I didn't tell him that - I mentioned it on a message board he doesn't read.

Who are you to even say that then. Fair enough have an opinion but why exactly shouldn't he of searched for answers to the questions he had for himself?

Well he wasn't exactly doing great until he announced the comeback was he? This could of and hopefully will be what he needed to be happy in himself. He can finally retire now without having the "what ifs'" flying around his head

Hope you're right yes and it doesn't go the other way where he had higher expectations of himself and failed where it'll affect his life for the worse.

He had a great career, won titles along the way. Nothing to prove really.

He should have done what barry mcguigan did years ago and quit early.

The only thing I won't miss is his interviews talking in third person

burning blue soul agrees with this entirely!

shame he couldnt get the win, but if he had, maybe it would have caused him more trouble down the line. cant knock him for giving it one last go, now he knows and can get on with the rest of his life and not look back thinking 'what if'
