Yes it is.That’s league appearances only isn’t it?
Ah cool sorryI know mate, see my other post.
Thanks.
Trafford saved one of those chances yesterday, by being another yard forward in his starting position and he just dived on the ball and stopped it going across the goal.Watch that Palace goal here if you like. His positioning is fine, he's in line with the other defenders. Problem is the pass down our left and then a good cross being put over without challenge.

Good defensive line but where is Eze?

You can just see his leg in the left of the screen now. He's a mile offside. It's why he had a headstart. It's difficult to defend against because he's still inactive at this point.

Now Eze is behind the ball so on, but Lewis hasn't managed to close the gap enough.

It's a good ball over. Ederson may have been put off going for it by the other Palace striker. Easy for Eze.

It's a tough goal to stop but it's the organization, or balance, or someone on the other flank at fault here.

That goal down both our left and right sides, was scored at least 15/20 times in all competitions last season.
We need a Walker replacement or at least a dedicated proper right back, but that might not happen until next season.
Walker had low technical ability but he had a good understanding of the game. Also I think it was perfectly understandable when we had KDB, Bernardo, Gundo, Mahrez etc with bags of technical ability.Walker had pace and strength, but he was probably the weakest technical player in the team.
I think this criticism of Rico is still because so many English fans value those qualities above all others.
2 of those were u21s in the lower EFL trophy, so it is 95Those stats are for Premier League only he has 97 senior appearances
It's not unreasonable, and it may be your preference, but what you describe there is exactly what I have been saying. A team is a blend of strengths that creates a high-functioning whole. Rico has a particular skillset which helps to dominate the ball. Controlling the ball makes us less vulnerable, concede fewer set pieces, and less counter-attacks.Walker had low technical ability but he had a good understanding of the game. Now that we’re rebuilding, I don’t think it’s that crazy to want a RB that isn’t weak. When there’s corners his marker easily gets past him.
95th according to Wiki. I guess people really do see things differently in terms of how he plays. It would be hugely disappointing to me if Rico was allowed to go.Yeah my bad, yesterday was his 98th appearance
Fair play to Rico for staying and fighting. Personally I don’t see him ever being a regular starter for a top end premier league club. I think his physical limitations outweigh his technical attributes. But if we give him a season we will know for sure and hopefully he proves us doubters wrong.
People also seem to forget he's 20. Most people are a streak of piss at that age. He'll naturally become more physical as he gets older.Same height as Lahm and Alves, could be perfectly fine yet.
Totally agree with this. Was a fan when he broke through but I don’t see him kicking on either.Fair play to Rico for staying and fighting.
