I’d still offer a two-year contract to Semedo at Wolves. Think he might have played with Bernardo (same agent), Ederson, and Dias at Benfica, which would mean he would understand the players immediately around him, and having played at Benfica and Barcelona, he would be able to settle into our system. Has played in most games of late for Wolves, so would likely be fit and League ready, which would be a bonus. He’s on big wages at Wolves, apparently, who are in a state of flux and might be changing manager, so they may accept a deal now before his contract expires in the summer. Not the ultimate fix, true, but perhaps a logical solution to a very immediate problem.
