From what youve seen of Khusanov what makes you think he will provide any viable attacking threat at all? Yes hes got pace but hes not much use as an overlapping option - compare to Ait-Nouri on the other side as an example.I want what works, if playing Khusonov there works then who cares what his main position is.
Peps style demands that the full backs can play in the opposition half and are comfy in possession; Khusanov has his qualities but the skill set our system demands for the position - a vital role as demonstrated by our failings in the 16/17 season when we had old men at full back - are something Id suggest he just doesnt have.
