Rio Olympics

I've only caught bits here and there, not really that interested tbh. I have noticed the crowds though, or rather the lack of them. Have they priced the locals out or is there just a general sense of apathy about the whole thing?

I just don't think they're all that interested in watching sport unless they're in with a chance of winning a medal. They're currently fourth in the gymnastics and the place is packed.

Brazilians are like rags then? In that case I hope they win fuck all.

You was right the first time. It's far too expensive. The cheapest tickets were knocking on for 100 quid when I looked. Also the Zika virus isn't helping matters.

Cheapest tickets are nowhere near £100. Cycling road race was free. They couldn't even be arsed turning out for that.

Why would the Zika virus affect how many Brazilians turn out? They live there.

Also some comments about not having sufficient staff to enforce the stringent security measures and very long queues to get in.
