Rio Olympics

Wrestling on now. Christ there a Cuban fella on now and he's as big as that fella from Green Mile.

Well said, the others talk romanticist crap, it was almost cringe worthy. Johnson is a man i can admire, a beast of a runner, the best i ever saw as a total disciplined athlete.
Well spoken, articulate and concise. A fine Olympian from an era where i thought it was at it's peak. The world was getting smaller, training techniques were available to all, competition had never been so strong. Did i mention what a fantastic runner he was, totally untouchable with that distinctive straight head all through the run.

Ok i'll take my tongue out of his arse now hehe, but yeah someone i really admire.

I think he is the best sports analyst full stop, certainly head and shoulders above any football pundit we are subjected to.

The only baggage he brings is 'athletic performance' baggage. If the performance is good he will say exactly that, if it's world class he will say so, if it's shite he will be polite about saying it's shite.

These dancing horses. How the fuck do you train a horse to dance? Can't even get the dog to stop shitting on the kitchen floor

Cavendish is looking to win his first ever Olympic medal
Great Britain's Mark Cavendish is tied for second going into the final two events of the Olympic omnium.

The 31-year-old Manxman was third after Sunday's three events but fifth place in the time trial lifted him to a share of second overall.

France's Thomas Boudat is tied with Cavendish after finishing 10th in the time trial.

The flying lap and the points race remain on Monday evening, with the first starting at 20:00 BST.

Having finished sixth in the opening event, the scratch race, he was second fastest in the individual pursuit and seventh in the elimination race.

Cavendish, who has won 30 stages at the Tour de France, is looking to win his first ever Olympic medal in Rio.

Italian Elia Viviani remains in the lead by 14 points after finishing third in the time trial.

I was well fucked off last night ,sat up enthralled by the tennis. Waited for hours to see the medal ceremony for Murray. they surely could have nipped back for it like they did for others. I know what Bolt did was newsworthy but the wankfest at the expense of a few minutes to see one of our own get his medal was poor by the BBC.

Looking like Charlotte Dujardin has defended her title in the dancing horses, best score there's ever been apparently. That'll be another gold for GB. (Only 1 rider left).

Dancing horse GOLD. Don't know why I am watching it but I am. How they judge it is a total mystery. Starting to get a handle on judging diving, minimum splash x difficulty etc, this though is completely fucking alien. Even the posh **** commentating just guesses (and got 2 completely wrong). Crowd even booing as the Spanish horse was best, the most upbeat for me
