Really sad news. I used to live round the corner from him and would see him in the local Indian regularly a few years back.
His company carpeted my house inc Bluemoon discount.

Last time I spoke to him was at his house to collect tickets a couple of years back. A brave bloke
Saw him at many at match and he also did our carpets
He threw in the grippers and door plates as I got a mate of his a Dortmund away ticket

Yeah carpeted my whole house in Chaddy and my mum's in Royton, was a pleasure taking footie with him while braking a deal.Horrible disease, just awful, I’m attending a dinner at Ashton Golf Club in about three weeks in aid of MND.
RIP even though I never knew him, always sad to lose a Blue.
As an aside did Bill have a retail outlet?

Been a part of this forum since Talkin’ City, joined Bluemoon many years ago. Bill has been a stalwart since then, we exchanged many many messages over the years.
I recall one Friday where he was planning on going to the casino in town, invited me along. I of course went down, we supped a few, chatted and played roulette and BJ.
Devastating news. RIP Bill.

What a sad,sad loss it is to hear of the passing of one of Blue Mooners finest and great characters. Over the years I was fortunate to have met Bill and what a lovely guy he truly was.
My sincere condolences to his family,relatives and friends. We have lost a good un !!
