Very sad news. I didn't know him very well but he treated my like a long lost friend every time I saw him. RIP.

Very quick story about Bill…
Met him at loads of bm meet ups and saw him at games etc and asked him to pop round and give me quote for some wooden flooring in my old house..
Me and my mrs at home…
Door goes and it’s Bill…
He comes in and I say this is Bill…and this is my mrs Sheryl!
Without batting an eyelid Bill says “Gaz you lying b@stard..I thought you said your mrs was a right ugly bugger”…
Luckily i’d already told Sheryl he was a windup merchant

Oh no, I am so saddened to hear this news, Bill was a top top guy, and I will miss him a lot, gave me some very good advice and help many years ago sat in his shop in Denton, and will be forever grateful to him.
