RIP Freddie Hill

Brilliant player when he was in his prime with Bolton. He was well past his better days when he signed for City and injuries had clearly taken their toll. Hence he was much slower and didn't really do himself justice in the sky blue shirt. Players from that era sadly seem to be falling like nine pins right now. RIP Freddie

Only played for us briefly and far from a regular but he was a class player , didnt have pace and wasnt a tackler but a sublime passer of a ball who could find a player when others couldnt , he wouldnt have suited the current up and at'em football , but a very good footballer in an era when creative footballers used to get kicked off the park , R-I-P to a fine footballer
