Wonder if anyone on Blue Moon saw him in the '66 World Cup ? Didn't Brazil stay at the Lymm Hotel as their base ?

They did, (and Korea) plenty of photos around and there is a small exhibition of the man at Lymm heritage centre in the village (5 cracking Pubs too).

In true British style the fabulous Lymm Hotel was demolished a couple of years ago.
Travesty and nowhere near enough was made of the fact Brazil and the greatest ever footballer stayed there during '66.

Sad to hear. I found out that Mario Zagallo is still alive (91 years old) the last surviving member of the starting 11 of the 1958 World Cup winning team.
