RIP

come on blues...it was there own fault. they decided to carry on going into the stadium even though the police was saying no more. they brought it upon themselves so therefore no justice should be given! if you think im being harsh then thats your opinion but my opinion is fuck them!

Oh dear. There's always one prick that will derail any thread and this is one.

I'm not going to waste much typing space on the likes of you but surely even someone as dim as yourself can realise that the 96 people crushed at the front were there in plenty of time and had no influence on anything that happened behind them. Everyone of those lives lost were innocent lives.

I happened to be walking down the main street in Huyton when the events were unfolded; mingling amongst people whose relatives had gone to the game. Seeing these people all huddled around listening to their radio, trying to find out just what was going on, crying and screaming was probably the most harrowing thing I have ever witnessed.

Slightly unfortunate faux-pas

RIP. I remember being at Ewood watching City get beat 4 nil when the news broke - put things in perspective when people started to realise what had happend.

Nearly all those who died were at the front of the stand. There would of been there nice and early. so therefor were not to blame one bit. At the end of the day these fans went to watch a game we all love and never came home!

It is your opinion. But it is not a fact. More than one official enquiry (including the Taylor Report) and several documentaries and books prove your views to be a fallacy.
But thats not what bothers me.
What bothers me is why feel the need to desecrate a simple RIP thread intended for blues to pay their respects to 96 fellow football supporters from our region - men, women and children - who died in such an appalling manner twenty-one years ago today?
If you feel so strongly about this - and with the subject being topical considering the anniversary - why not start a thread up yourself? A discussion would follow. Why come on here and be such an insensitive fucking moron?

And please dont say 'come on blues' as if I have anything in common with you. As if we share a bond. We follow the same football team (unfortunately) but beyond that me and you have nothing in common.

Some people moan about the police treatment of fans these days, back then fans really were treated worse than cattle.

There have been government reports conducted which have cleared the fans of the blame.

Read one eyewitness report on the Guardian which was awful, one fan was severely crushed and screamed at a copper to help and the copper just laughed and walked off. The ages of the dead is awful.

This was a disaster waiting to happen. It very nearly happened previously at a game involving Spurs if I remember correctly.

R.I.P the 96 lads who went to a football match and didn't come back.

Factually wrong the police opened the gate allowing the fans to go in but had no one there to direct the fans into the pens that were empty that has been made clear on the documentaries. Bad communications then made the police treat it as a riot meaning medical attention was late arriving then once they did realise it was to late for the 95 that died on the day and the poor lad that was in a coma for years before he finally died...Your version is the one the sun had printed which has been proved to be incorrect and is one of the reasons I will never buy that comic

How very sad that you felt the need to add that to this thread for a reaction to brighten your sad little existence, Your comments typify every thing that is wrong with society today,

Uneducated know it all kids like you.

Prick

My money is on you being a Rag as no decent City fan would have added what you did.
