Raz was a kid.lets use Sterling then, he took quite some time to get where he is now - no?

Not disingenuous at all. It doesn't matter what line of work you are in, when you change it takes time to fit into a different company even if it is something you have been doing for years. Plenty of players have moved clubs and not settled for a while. Mahrez at Leicester and him now is being asked to do two different jobs. I don't care that he speaks English or has played 180 times for Leicester it will take time.Comparisons to David Silva seem particularly disingenuous considering he was new to the country and league and needed time to learn the language and get used to the league.
Again, I'm not writing Mahrez off, but that's a shit comparison, he's been in the contry 5 years, speaks fluent English and has 180 PL appearances under his belt.
An international with several PL seasons under his belt.Raz was a kid.

A 20 year old kid.An international with several PL seasons under his belt.
If you don't think what he is being asked to do is radically different then I suggest you think againNot sure the job he’s being asked to do now is radically different to what he was doing at Leicester. Still playing wide right and cutting in on to his left peg, just being asked to work harder. Thus far he’s been distinctly underwhelming, new club or not
Not at all. Even Kun had to take a back seat whilst he came to grips with Peps system. I am not knocking anyone, just putting forward an argument as to why it takes time and the time is not linear.Sterling was bought as a kid with bags of potential to improve, Mahrez was bought as a player entering his peak years with a premier league winners medal and player of the season award under his belt. A marquee signing who was expected to have a big instant impact. Ridiculous comparison.

Different formations, different players, different tactics, different expectations - will that do for starters. Why don’t you enlighten me?
