He is always trying too hard to score the wonder goal. He will settle and understand there is more to the job than that. He does get a hard time though because of it. His numbers are decent considering he has made a huge step up. He will get there. Pep was spot on for supporting him pre-match and the goal will do him good. Plenty of big games to come where he could make the difference.

It can't be easy though as he rarely gets a decent run of games, that said, he needs to look at why he isn't getting a run of games, most of it is down to him.He is always trying too hard
Honestly think he should be tried in a central attacking role (in place of David for example for rotation). I think it could reduce his predictability where he can either cut left or fake and go right. Foden can play RW I feel also, so it shouldn't hamper his development.
He reminds to nolitoDecent hit for his goal but otherwise frustrating again, so many attacks seemed to break down once the ball reached him, especially in the first half.

I keep hearing he is trying to hard. I can’t see that at all. He certainly isn’t thinking too hard or he would have cottoned on what is required as a team player in a Pep team. His movement is much more predictable than any other forward. He doesn’t work as hard. When was th3 last time he played a killer pass compared to the others? I am not seeing a glimmer of hope yet.

Jeez he’s not that fucking bad.
You'd hate to play with him tbh, infuriating player, reminds me of Nani. Always pissing about and over elaborating instead of taking the first good opportunity to pick a pass/shot. Don't know if it's nerves/pressure or if he's just not capable of making good decisions often enough
