Since the Spurs away loss in CL we played 5 games and all 5 games he was an unused sub. Not even a minute he played. Clearly its hard to hit any kind of form with that.

He was fucking dross in that game, his game time since has reflected that’s

If he's not getting any game time, it's because he's not good enough in training.

Bernardo & Raheem could barely walk at the end of yesterday's game, Sané was never going to be suited to a game with Burnley camped in their own box, yet Mahrez didn't feature. Something must be telling Pep that he's just not good enough.

African Cup of Nations in June, so he doesn’t really get to join the squad for pre season training until much later
Seems hard to integrate him into the system
Been in the premier league 6 seasons, so it’s not like he’s just moved to a foreign country, just don’t think ( in my opinion!) it’s in either parties interests to continue
Good player with an amazing first touch.

we have won those 5 games since, in large part to the wingers/wide attackers who played instead of him.

I want our record signing to succeed as well but in a win-or-else environment like the last few weeks, he's my 4th choice wide player.

They also include Mangala. Do you want to point out the time Pep dropped Silva for 5 games?

I recall Mangala being lauded on his debut.
Why would I point out Silva being dropped? All players should be dropped if they are not in form and that includes Silva or Mahrez, but it does not mean that they are poor players and should be dispensed with.

My point, which I am certain you recognise, is there are many on here who judge players very negatively much too soon. We have a hugely talented squad and I cannot see reason for it.

They just want one of their many predictions to come good.

It's like the guys who've spent the last couple of years saying Gundogan isn't good enough. He couldn't get past Silva, De Bruyne and Ferna last season, yet he's been vital this year.

I don't think we should be waiting for Mahrez to come good, for as long as it's taken with Gundogan (who I still don 't want as a regular first choice in any role).

First part of next season (if he's still here) is enough imo.

He's not 21.
