Riyad Mahrez - 2018/2019 performances

I cannot disagree with much of what you say, it is the bile I don't get; not from you, I hasten to add.

Statements, like he's shit, are simply not true and are more about the emotion of the fan rather than reality.
There was a Leicester fan on here a few months back who offered thoughts as to why Mahrez wasn't working out for us. He said he thought it was down to style.of play. Leicester sit deep and hit teams on the counter with Mahrez having a free reign on that counter. With City Pep likes a more rigid system so he is often stuck out wide. And teams more often than not sit deep against us and we have to break them down with clever quick passes. He does also look short on confidence which is understandable.

Whatever Mosside. Your judgements on anybody that dissagrees with your point of view are more than tedious.
Just admit you jumped in without thinking through what was being posted. ( I doubt you will)
As for your words above, again, you have gone off and shot your load again without understanding what you are responding to

Anyway, toodle pip, only get 30 mins for lunch and have to get back on my beat :)

He's had a decent season? Fucking hilarious.

Club record signing, brought in at 27 years old with 5 years experience in the league, and scored most of his goals against lower league opposition. Do you think that's what Guardiola had in mind when he asked Txiki to do the deal? It takes a while to get used to Pep's tactics and yet everyone else has managed it in 6 months or less, and came on strong in the second half of the season despite language barriers and being in new countries. Meanwhile, Mahrez has 3 league starts in 2019.

Wake up. He's had a bloody awful season, he's contributed almost nothing and as of today was a terrible transfer. Now maybe he'll turn it around and come good, but pretending he's doing fine is embarrassing.

You wake up and try to be objective for once.

Ok so let’s just ignore his goal in the 1-0 away win at Spurs. Ignore his goal in the 1-0 away win at Bournemouth. Ignore his goal and assist in 2-1 away win at Watford. 9 points right there, if you want to count a penalty miss against him that he didn’t even want to take then we can take away 2 points and it’s still a positive return ffs.

Not to mention the increase in competition he provided to Sane, Bernardo, and Sterling.

You’re completely deluded if you think he’s contributed nothing and has had a “bloody awful” season.

It’s a decent season, could be better but could be much much worse.

Your maths is shit, for a start. Try again with your calculations.

And if you still genuinely think a player with 3 starts in the league in 2019 is doing anything other than terribly at this club, you are fucking deluded.

He's only started 2 games more than Mendy FFS, who's injured, in the dog house and people think might be leaving in the summer, please tell us more about how it could have been "much worse".

More miss than hit and in the context of him being our record signing, it's difficult to argue that it's been anything other than a poor signing (so far).

Let's be clear, for a club record buy, he hasn't exactly set the world on fire.
And let's be even clearer, he WANTED to take that penalty and insisted he take it ahead of Gab Jesus.

He has been a disappointment...but I wont write him off just yet.
Next season is his chance to turn things around

Lol and the narrative continues. For the 100th time he didn’t want to take it. Clear evidence below.
