Jaydon is an exceptional talent but was demanding what we would not promise, at the age of sixteen. He has gone on to a successful first season in the Bundesliga but that does not define a successful career. I hope he makes it, as I want all young players to deliver something that keeps me loving the game, but the club moves on and continues to deliver in ways many of us never dreamed possible, certainly not as a fifty-year-old Moss Side lad!

And Bernado Silva

I didn't see that but it wouldn't surprise me. It has always been the one thing about being a City fan that I despised. The club is in my blood and has coursed through the blood of generations of my family for years. I was born yards from Maine Road and had my hair cut by Artie but this one thing, from Bowyer, to Edgy, to Dzeko, to Gundo and to Mahrez is the one facet of our fan base that irks.

His second season has been more successful than his first.
Might be that fifty-year-old memory... ;-)

Check his last year performance thread. There is a particular fan who kept complaining that all he does is slow the team down.

And KDB is careless in his passing and gives the ball away too often, iirc.
In fairness, jdb was careless in his passing. But very few ever said he wasn't good enough. The carelessness claim often came up as a point to make when arguing he wasn't as important as Dave.

Some of us in his first season thought he was more instrumental than Dave that season, the opposition (correctly I should add) pointed out his carelessness with the ball. I'd say that was a fair criticism.
