Goals bring confidence. He will now feel like he has proven he belongs in our team and hopefully will show that confidence moving forward. An excellent player with true quality and what a squad we have. Silva not even involved, Jesus not involved. Kompany not involved and no Mendy yet we score 5 and Foden gets time and Fernandinho gets a bit of rest. Excellent result and performance. Mahrez will take until January to fully settle but once he does he will help win us numerous games either starting or f4om the bench.

In the Champions League to have those options on the bench is incredible.

Happy to see Riyad get on when the game was won no pressure on him and he pops up with 2 goals too which was great for him. Got to be a bit of confidence from that. He plays tomorrow night I can see him getting another goal building him up for the games up coming. He has a huge battle to get game time on his hands as long as he works hard and scores he will get his chances might not be out wide but as back up to Kun if he keeps scoring wouldnt shock me. Jesus will now have a battle on his hands for the back up to Kun role.

Good finish with his right but only really looked a threat once they started to tire around the 70min mark. Would like to see him play more with Danilo, who can offer more of an overlapping threat, and see if that can free him more space. As it stands, by the time the ball arrives at his foot, it seems that every team is able to shuffle a couple of players out and nullify the threat.

On the other hand, he must have felt like being at Leicester again for his goal. A counter attack, with lots of space to show off your talent. I'm sure there will be times when he misses those days.

It's not easy playing for City. You can look great von a counter team, and have a right hard time here regardless of your talent.

Tbf to the lad he has just left leicester city,where he was undoubtedly the star man and most talented player in a limited team of runners..he would have been expected to go it alone in the last third of the pitch,applying the coup de grace to the famous LC counter attacks.
Pep will work on him drawing defenders to him and lifting his head to play in well posistioned team mates in the box-at least thats how i see it.
