My first reaction when we got the Pen was who is going to take it?
Obviously Aguero if he was on pitch
Gundogun injured
Would Sterling have had the balls to step up? (scored a cracker at watford)
Jesus if I remember right had missed his one and only pen for city (hit the post I think)
In reality there wasn't a stand out person to take it.
If it was down to me I would have gone one of the Silva's, thou from what I can remember David missed his only spot kick vs Blackpool years ago

Jesus missed last 2 pens I think.

I’m surprised people here seem to think he had a good game (excluding the penalty miss). I thought he was our worst player. I even thought he was a bit selfish the way he was always going for shots at ridiculous angles. Hopefully he just needs time to gel into this team but I’m starting to not like this signing.

He's had an underwhelming start for the club especially for someone who is already used to the league. He''s pretty much the same type of player as bernardo when used on the wing except he's much more selfish in his play. Seems like almost every time he has the ball near the opposition goal, his first instinct is to try and get a yard of space where he can get a shot off which is counterproductive to what the team has been about the past 2 seasons where its all about linking up to create the best chance possible for a teammate and only on rare occasion where a player will try shooting every little space they get that being aguero.

He's clearly talented and maybe with time getting used to the system he will learn to use his teammates more but atm sane and sterling will still be my 1st choice wingers going forward as there's more fluidity and pattern of play to the side when they play. The penalty miss happens to the best of them so wouldn't dwell too much on it

This, from Martin Samuel, sums up the disappointment so far,

"Up steps Riyad Mahrez. This, one imagines, is what the record signing was bought to do. Define games. Win matches. Those huge moments on which title campaigns turn.

That is why City pursued him. That is why Foden was pushed down the pecking order. He’s a kid and everyone knows what City want. Big men, for big occasions. The finished article."

He hasn't looked close to being a finished article.

He isn't used to our style, leicester to us style wise is like here to the moon,he wasn't great today, not on the same wavelength yet,a lot of our players took a whole season to learn what pep wants to a high standard, give him the chance to learn, impatience with new players is not a very attractive quality, his goals have already been forgotten

On a scale of 1-10 , that post is a -15.
