The winning bid is 59 mill, what your getting fed today and tonight is the goings on since Sanchez was no more,
Weeks of negotiations getting played out through the media as they would like but already done and dusted.
Take my word on it.
You’re at it again mate, gone all ITK, lol.

Mate their stance seems pretty clear from reporters today - Matt Law and John Percy in particular stating they value him close to £90million. There's no way both clubs will find a middle ground in 24 hours to conclude a deal. Leicester won't sanction a move for £60million and that'll probably be City's highest offer - at an educated guess. I sincerely hope I am wrong on that however. The usual ITKs on here say Leicester are talking about potential replacements which is good but that's a significantly high separation in value for this deal to be done now, in my honest opinion.

You might be right.

But if ffp decides teams can only spend 90 mil on transfers, would you spend it on Mahrez ?

You think we'll make another bid at 59mil mate or are you saying we've already agreed to pay this?

Doesn't make any difference to the fact that as his transfer request was in, any valuation we placed on him already took that into account.

He can have the devil himself as his agent, but he has two and a half years left on his contract. If your board want the player, then they can have him for what we'd consider a reasonable bid in the current market.

I'm sure there is a deal to be done if your side really want him. The owners are friends with the players and there is a lot of mutual respect, they don't like to stand in peoples way, but they also won't have the piss taken. £55m for Mahrez will be see as an insult.

Chuck in another £10m cash, lots of add ons and wipe out the Iheanacho buy back and a chunk of the remaining fee. I'm sure there is a middle ground.

I'd rather keep him as he's priceless to us, no fee will ever get us as good a replacement. He's a sensational player, come the summer he'll be worth £100m+ and we all know it down here.
I hope you keep him too

His transfer request was submitted in the summer, his latest one means nothing. It's just reiterating and trying to put pressure on the club, which won't work.

Chelsea bid £15m for Drinkwater on the summer deadline and we told them to get screwed despite his transfer request until we got what we wanted. Which was £35m. We got it and the transfer happened.

So far, if the bids are true then they are nothing more than an insult to the club You cannot buy centre backs for £57m, with no prem experience. And then expect to take the best player from a cash rich premier league team, a player who has won the title and the player of the year award, has more goals and assists than Coutinho and Hazard in the last 3 years, for less.

If he goes I'm happy for him to go to you guys over the others as I can't stand any of them and I've love seeing him in your set up. He'd thrive. I'm just annoyed about the timing an the pathetic bid, considering the market at the moment and the form he's in.
No offence to Leicester but I am amazed mahrez is still with you as every window he seems desperate to leave. I remember in the Summer he left his national training camp and holed up in a hotel with his agent making it very clear he wanted to move

He is a top player. Absolutely crazy that clubs like Arsenal and Utd have not moved for him, but I bet you are grateful for that

I think it's obvious that City have moved for Mahrez after the injury to Sane which puts our season at risk. Sane is our cutting edge, he gives us width and takes players out. I was gutted earlier today when I heard he was out for 6 weeks.

If the player want out, you should sell for offers over £50m given his transfer request and contract which I believe expires at the end of next season. If that's right after this window, his value will fall
