Definately Foden - he doesnt rely that much on pace. He's destined to replace El Mago. Both could still be playing for City in 20 years

What do they need a replacement for though ? To help them confirm that they can play their reserve team in the Europa League next season ?
Many of the agents, managers etc will fuck off on holiday etc next season & the transfer window shuts early August.
I'm sure that's why we are doing this now rather than because of Sané or ffp.
His transfer request was submitted in the summer, his latest one means nothing. It's just reiterating and trying to put pressure on the club, which won't work.
Chelsea bid £15m for Drinkwater on the summer deadline and we told them to get screwed despite his transfer request until we got what we wanted. Which was £35m. We got it and the transfer happened.
So far, if the bids are true then they are nothing more than an insult to the club You cannot buy centre backs for £57m, with no prem experience. And then expect to take the best player from a cash rich premier league team, a player who has won the title and the player of the year award, has more goals and assists than Coutinho and Hazard in the last 3 years, for less.
If he goes I'm happy for him to go to you guys over the others as I can't stand any of them and I've love seeing him in your set up. He'd thrive. I'm just annoyed about the timing an the pathetic bid, considering the market at the moment and the form he's in.
And if the opposition are whining then obviously we’re doing it right ;-)My sentiments.... if a lesson has been learned after the Bobby era it's that strengthening at the right time is essential to sustained success. We have a glorious opportunity here!
I'd quite like to see him collapse as it's announced. If it does happen, I just pray it's not when Jim White's on SSN.

Good post but hardly a "pathetic" bid.His transfer request was submitted in the summer, his latest one means nothing. It's just reiterating and trying to put pressure on the club, which won't work.

Yep, bang on. I for one hope we meet the asking price. He'd be incredible under Pep.His transfer request was submitted in the summer, his latest one means nothing. It's just reiterating and trying to put pressure on the club, which won't work.
