Riyad Mahrez

Could Sterling or Sane have done what Mahrez did at Leicester?

Difficult question to answer mate......I do think anyone joining this squad, is going to look good with so many world class players around them, so maybe Mahrez value was greater at Leicester as he did it with very little help?...No question he is top class and as good as Sterling/Sane but even that is hard to compare, as he is 5years older and in his prime, where Sterling and Sane still can develop to even greater levels....either way, I going to love watching him play in this squad but as mentioned...we have a hole at DM and just see that as a bigger short/long term need...which is why for me, I'm more excited/interested to see who we sign to fill that position.

Wondering if we’ll see this at times next season....

—— Jorg/Fern - De Bruyne ——

Mahrez —— Sterling —— Sane

Nay to Sterling in the middle. Mahrez would be much better through the middle. However Bernardo or Merlin through the middle f*ck yes.

I think we will see Mahrez (if/when he signs) to cover more for David. Pep seems to prefer Bernardo out on the right wing. We could posible have Leroy, Benjy and Mahrez, when Merlin isnt playing, overloading the left side. It also means that we can alternate between 3-5-2 and 4-3-3.

Pep did play with a 5-3-2(3-5-2) formation in the start of one of his seasons.

Where to Bernando/Sane/Sterling?

Or if you were in certain fantasy leagues, they called it 3-5-2 and didn't give clean sheet points for Walker or Danilo, not that I am bitter or anything.

I would call it 3-5-2 wb's still classing them as defenders with a licence to kill I mean get forward.

What a load of bollocks

Want to expand on that?

The testicles (also called testes or gonads) are the male sex glands. They are located behind the penis in a pouch of skin called the scrotum. The testicles produce and store sperm, and they are also the body's main source of male hormones (testosterone). These hormones control the development of the reproductive organs and other male characteristics, such as body and facial hair, low voice, and wide shoulders.

A few reasons it doesn't get me overly excited.
I was hoping for sterling and Sanè 1st choice with a young player Bailey, kluivert, etc with bags of potential to integrate and improve over the season/years. A project player we can invest in.
I didn't enjoy watching a player refuse to play/train to force a move and then sulk. It's happened to us in the past, I didn't like it happening to us and I don't like it happening because of us.
I question his mentality he can go missing for weeks/months and then turn it on and never seems to want to front up and apologise for his performances.
His work rate is questionable, does he have it in him to chase back and graft for the team.
Having said that, he is a very good player. He adds that final pass/shot consistently and goes past 2/3 players with a purpose. Hopefully if we get him he answers all our questions and he steps up again into world class stats. I understand he only plays for Leicester and the motivation at city will push him to push himself harder, only time will tell.

He hasn’t been playing for Pep, has he?
