99.999% would do the same in his shoes. Not being greedy, just being smart.The way Mahrez has acted in the past is completely irrelevant here.
If Leicester would have accepted his transfer request in January and sold him then Mahrez would have received no loyalty payment.
However, Leicester refused to sell him and he retracted his request. Hence he is due a loyalty payment.
