It's a very dull window when you only need a couple of players (no room for crazy speculation) and both deals drag on and on

Not necessarily disagreeing more a desire to understand.Whilst he played in a couple of international friendlies these were pre World Cup and stilll left plenty of time for a holiday ahead of returning with rest of Leicester players.

Sounds very much like stalemate. Which means he stays at Leicester.
