The season before last, I seem to recall quite a few similar “expert views” on here insisting that Merlin & ‘Dinho were no longer up to the job and needed showing the door asap

I remember those,sergio was written off as well,amazing how spoilt some have become

You could just support a blue that was out for a long time with injury,nothing anyone says to you changes what you post,you rinse and repeat it every day

Do you mean pretend that I rate him really highly when I don't just because he has been injured sadly. Do you know you are right! I was wrong too about RSC and Rodwell they were superb players. In all seriousness I have not and will never boo any player wearing a City shirt. I just feel that on an open forum people are entitled to air their opinions on what they see as the the strong points of the team and the weaker areas. We are very fortunate these days that we have very few weaker areas. That is why I think it's doubly hard to improve the squad and even more so the first team.

However I do recall many on here still defending Bravo right up until the point Ederson came in!

Every xfer is a little bit of a gamble and not every player works out eg Mangala.
But Mahrez I am confident will improve under Pep and if we can get the Mahrez of the Leicester title winning season he will be well worth the money.

Fair enough ,there are times I have an opinion and Pep doesnt do what I would do. But then I stop and think and chances are Pep is probably in 90% plus of those occasions going to be right, I know this because subsequent events usually prove it, because he's knows a lot more than me.
