Riyad Mahrez

Maybe she wouldn't be too unhappy with the money on offer though ?

more to life than money etc, but true.

I'm she'd cope for a couple of years. Private luxury flight to UAE if she fancies the odd piss up.

This move would make a lot of sense, I'd miss him a bit though. Such a silky player.

true! and yes as frustrating as he can be, I want him to stay

Hopefully, this will end this week. I want us to get an answer from Riyad here, so we can move on from this.

That team (I believe) is looking to sign Mane too and could have a front line of Mane, Firmino, and Mahrez. Not too bad.

Scored some really important goals for us, would be a miss imo, of course depending on who would replace him, can't blame him if he does go.

Some seem keen to push mahrez out of the door, he's scored some important goals had some motm performances for us I would be very happy for him to stay.

I'm one of them.

I recognise his contribution but its an ideal time to pass the baton now.We have academy talents banging down the door, who we will lose if we don't offer a pathway.

All you say is undoubtedly true even before he arrived he was doing amazing things while still at Leicester...

That's his last three seasons there he was way more productive at Leicester than a world class regarded Hazard was at Chelsea, that's a player who cost Real Madrid over £100m yet he bettered him even in his last 3 Leicester seasons, he's got all of Eden's Majestic dribbling skills and first touch but on the other wing a way more productive output too.

Many will say Hazard (at his best) is the better overall player that is probably true but I'd argue Riyad Mahrez as a whole in world football is underrated, it's just we've been lucky enough to have so many world class players his contribution has maybe gone more unnoticed, than say if he was somewhere else because we've been completely spoilt for choice having many big game players.

Always dangerous always puts fear in opposition full backs even if he can drive people (me included) nuts at times when he has off days, he's been mostly effective ever since he joined us his numbers have carried on being consistently good.

Yes he's been annoying for all of us at times but he's also been pivotal to our success since arriving too... His haters (and I'm far from his biggest fan) should cut him some slack he's been a really great signing, when we've needed him to step up he's delivered and sometimes even done it all on his own.

Having said all that all things come to an end and I think now might be the right time for him and us to part ways, it'd be a great deal for us if we get the rumoured £40m and it possibly gives us a chance to break Palmer/others through, while Riyad gets to earn crazy money for the sunset of his career... A win win all round.

If Riyad Mahrez leaves I'll be very thankful for his contribution to a fantastic period in our clubs history.

Would be very disappointing to lose Mahrez, though from his point of view financially it obviously makes sense.

But we will certainly need to sign someone with enough quality to replace his goals and assists of previous seasons.

From City's point of view it makes financial and playing sense also.

Very few chances to still receive big transfer money for a player of his age.

Bet Txiki can't believe our luck.

Any Muslim player and his family would be happy to retire to Saudi Arabia. I worked there for 10 years so have some idea.
the guy and his family even tho are Muslims lived their whole lives in France and they can't even speak Arabic btw

Would expect him to stick around if he’s prepared to bide his time. This moment in time he doesn’t start. If Bernardo leaves, he’s behind foden, as I see Kova straight replacing gundo. See more of an impact role off the bench, early cup rounds and champs league group games. He forced his way here to leave Leicester after he’d just won Poty and won a league title….never felt like he’s a guy who hops on the gravy train. Never once has he been speculated as unhappy or wanting out….he’s sound as a pound for me.
