Robben

Currently behind only Messi & Ronaldo imo. Would be a fantastic signing. Should have signed him last time.

Can't see Bayern letting him go. They are a different side when he plays. He'll miss chunks of seasons, like Aguero, but he'll win a bunch of games for any side he plays in, & has probably got another 3 or 4 years in him due to his exceptional pace.

We could do with one or two big players at the club if Yaya & Milner are going. Robben is a matchwinner & will still be, for some time.

He could go one of two ways for me... Either he will continue to have injury difficulties and we look the fools, or he turns out to be a star player for us and has a second coming kindof like what Zlatan is for PSG. Personally I believe he can be the latter of those two but yeah 24 mil is a big price tag for a 31 year old. One bad year and it drops to 10 mil (Yaya is the perfect example of that) so i guess we'll just have to have faith in our staff to make the right call on this one

£24m would be a bargain but he's injured at the moment and I don't know what the injury is. Given his age and injury record have to be careful with that. I'd definitely be making enquiries though - only Messi ahead of him. not sure if he really is available but Bayern have to re-build. They might decide to sell while he can raise a fee as he will be past his best, but I am sure he is still top quality.

Difference with Ronaldo is the fee. £24m is potentially a bargain. For 1 season if fit, we'd be in serious contention for every trophy including the Champions League

Too old. The idea is to bring the avg age of the squad down.

You cant be so closed minded though, you have to take the best offers... Would you say the same for Ronaldo? Theres a very high chance a healthy Robben makes up for the 24 mil in one season alone, but yeah injury concerns are his biggest issue by far.

Can't see it myself. Not the sort of player our owners want. He a horrible cheating diving win at all/any cost ****. No one likes him because of the way he cheats.
look at our top players, hard to hate by opposing fans, loads of scouse and rag fans at work and not one of them can say anything bad about Silva, aguero, kompany, Hart, etc

Think for that kind of price it'd be a Van Persie type buy. Could make a huge impact for a season and then a drain on the resources thereafter. He's 32 in January and has a lot of injury miles on the clock. I think he's peaked over the last 12 months and has maybe one top season left in him followed by the Euros.

Zlatan's always played in the slowest leagues.
