Robbie's last game????

The only thing is I don't see what good him going on loan does for us,after all we're not talking about some average Jo here.I wouldn't mind him going if we bring someone else in but if not we're getting a bit down on numbers in the creative department going into the business end of the season.Petrov's knee is dodgy so is Bellers,SWP has only just comeback and Roque's whole body dodgy.

If he doesn't wanna be here then i'm glad to see the back of him, the lack of respect he's shown for the club and his team mates over the last month has been disgusting.

It will be a shame if it is as there is so much potential thats going to waste. I hoped that under Mancini he would flourish or at least show a bit of enthusiasm but he is still the same.

We should loan him out and hope he is able to motivate himself at another foreign club. At least that way when we do come to sell him we will get a decent price for him.

Huge mistake if this happens.

Sign a centre midfielder who can dominate the game and give Robbie the platform to destroy teams like he did at home last season. That's all that's missing...that and a bit of match practice.
I'm actually shocked that more people can't see that that is the problem. I'm even more shocked that people aren't noticing that Bellamy and Tevez are only masking over this major team fault, by working their bollocks off. As soon as forward player steps in without the exceptional work rate of Tevez and Bellamy, they'll instantly get labelled lazy. It's not true.

Letting a club loan a player who we've paid £32m is a joke....especially when the players who can play his position are both injury prone.

It baffles me really. We have Bojinov, Caicedo and Jo all out on loan after spending a decent amount of money on them and then getting impatient when they don't do the business right from the start.

Loaning out our top scorer and the league's 4th top scorer, just last season, (in a team that finished 10th aswell) because he's not playing well despite the fact he's had to adapt to new team-mates and he's had a 3 month injury that he hasn't quite bounced back from is a really stupid move.

I cant help but feel he just needed a few goals for confidence.

I do believe he reads or is told everything that is written. I think he actually believes most of it too.
Dont know what to make of the loan move. Seems silly on our part if we dont have someone to come into the squad. Our flair is either injured, injury prone or loaned to Bolton.

Lazy, yes. But if he got his confidence back and we had more Arsenal and Stoke performances like last year I would be the happiest person here.

I feel he is too far gone though. Such a pity. Great talent. Throwing it all away. Silly Robbie (If true)

I dont really see signs of him being really unhappy. Seems a bundle of laughs during warm ups and training. Saying that I am no body language expert.

Good luck to him in whatever he does I say. Just stay away from the other premiership teams.

This story is in the Telegraph this morning too but there are no quotes from anyone. I'm not sure if there is anything in this.

Bobby Manc hasn't had that much time with him yet so I would be surprised if he has already made up his mind. I also don't think Santos can offer anything close to £160000 a month.

Having said all of that, if he does go anywhere then santos would be fine. When a name like that leaves you don't want him making headlines in your back yard 6 months later (see carlito for details) as it's quite embarrassing so the relative obscurity of South America would be the right place for him.

p.s. I know Santos is a huge club but they have a very small footprint in Europe.

How about him potting a couple of goals next game to get us to the next FA match.
Shall we clamour for him to stay? Never say never!

I honestly think he just needs a spark. He is a confidence player and just needs that kick start. Maybe santos loan is a way to achieve this?
He will still be our player at the end of the day. He gets over there and pops in a dozen goals, maybe we take him back as the old robson?

Or maybe its still press bullshit and he is gonna sit on the bench til that elusive spark finds him.

I'm far from being a Robbie fan but this is when I do feel a little sorry for him.People seem to think it's an attitude thing with him and if he wanted to he could just take
the piss on a consistent basis like a Messi or Ronaldo. He can't he does not have the physical side to his game like they do.If he gets it on the halfway line then 9 times out of ten the other player is stronger and quicker than him so even if he beats him he's not gonna get away from him.If you get it in to him around the edge of the box you see the best of him and you will see moments of genius but unless you're Barca it is hard to do that all the time. That's why yet another manager finds it hard to fit him into a system. This does not mean he does not try or care though, sure he won't run round like Bellers or Tevez but he's not the boneidle sod some like to make out.

I think he will come good but really thats Mancini and cos decsion.
Id be annoyed if we didnt recoup the majority of the money back for him...
