Robbie's last game????

Del Piero played right back for Italy when needed to, he would put in a shift (10 men v Netherlands 2000), Robinho would be the first player taken off.

3 Goals in 2009 tells its own story.

He is a marketing decoration these days.

Like the McManaman poster the Liverpool fans did for him:

Sub at Real
Sub at City

Sub under Hughes
Sub under Mancini

3 Goals in 2009 tells it's own story? It doesn't though does it because lets face it apart from his poor form from January to April where he went through a bad patch he's not started that many games and of course there the end of the season where he obviously didn't play any games

Sub at Real - Last season for Real he started 28 out of the 38 leauge games when they won La Liga. Wasn't a sub under Hughes and started nearly every game when Hughes was in charge when he fit

Noticeable that MCFC has this story in the "what the papers say" bit which historically has given some credence to stories.

If true it's a shame but I'm tired of waiting for him to do something. First he complains he isn't surrounded by top class players and then, when he is, he can't compete.

don't understand how Mancini can come out a few days ago and say "we need players" and then 3 days later he's loaned out 2 of our healthy bodies.

Firstly if Mancini lets him go it will be a huge mistake on the managers part. Yes Robinho isnt playing well but we all know what he is capable of and his confidence is shot to pieces at present. It will also mean that Mancini has lied to the city fans already...he said last week that Robbie was part of his plans ( i wonder if the fans will forgive Mancini for this lie...im sure they will....they wouldnt have given MH the same forgiveness but thats a whole other story!)

Secondly...to all those that want him to go....well done! As I mentioned a few months ago you have been sadly predictable. While out injured with a broken leg the stories about barca interest emerged. I said at the time this would happen and the media used robbies absence from the team to put moer credence into these stories than should have been allowed. Some fans on here jumped on the band wagon...I said at the time that when he returned there would eb a small section of so called supporters on here and at games who due to the stories about barca and due to their nievity of believing the media totally, that at the first time of a bad game from robbie after his return there would be stories about robbie not being dedicated to the club and that some fans on here woud also say this...again this has sadly come true....even though robbie said in his own words that eh wante to stay at the club for the next 5-10 yrs and was totally committed....

DO some fans not see that from teh very moment of his arrival the media have a witch hunt against robinho??!?!?!? This is partly down to his price tag (not the players fault) partly down to his status and also down the the fact that he is at City and not one of arsenal, utd or chelski (i havent seen (m)any reports about deco being a waste of money, time etc even thou he has been far worse than robbie since his arrival). Some secions of the media will do anything to unsettle this club the players and the progress we are trying to make....If city break the top 4 (and have you noticed that term has had to been stopped being used by the press recently) they will have to change the way they promote the prem and certain teams....this is a break in the status quo and they dont like it!

Some fans are actually helping the media achieve these objectives...so i say well done.

Let me get this straight...Im not defending Robbies performances...Ive been playing and coachiong football for 25 yrs so in i know he has not been playing well (though there are others who havent yet dont get the same criticism from the fans or the press)...but it is a drop in form which most players go through at some point in their career.....but someof the reporting about robbie has been absurd...the constant refernce to his poor away form (again yes it was generally poor...but he still scored 1 more goal away from home than torres did all last season!!!...again a FACT that is never brough up by the media cause torres is one of their favourites and a brand they can use to sell and promo their papers and TV outlets cas he is at one of the established big 4...supposedly!)

I will make another prediction...IF robbie is sold the media will lable him a failure...however more worrying the next time city are in the market for a world class player this fact will be twisted to make it sound like our club cannt handle world class players and the example of robbie will be used.....!)

they will also print stories along the lines of that robbie himself will come out and say that the club didnt know how to handle a world class player of his stature......All this will help to maintain the status in the worlds eyes (except city fans) that our club will not and does nto deserve success and that they will never get it....and any success we do get may be tarnished by the fact that we have had to sell and buy so many supposed superstars to get it

It saddens me to see our fans again helping to shoot our club in the foot but some people just never ever learn!!!!

The Sun is the only "paper" its appeared in...........................

time's running out for that..

Can't wait to see Robinho leave.

It's common knowledge that Bellamy can do it better and does it every week, he's never had a bad game ever that lad.

Likewise it also means we may see more of Benjani/Caceido and other players of that ilk. Brilliant! Means we can moan until the cows come home.

Now, who wants to join my new facebook group aimed at getting rid of Given, Mancini and SWP? Come on people, we can get back to division 2 if we play our cards right and those were the best days of our lives, right? Right? I mean, I for one really enjoyed watching us play the likes of Bury. You can stuff your international superstars up your arse. Andy Morrisson was the best ever defender. Terry Cooke was twice the player of Tevez and we all know that if Joe Royle had been given more time we'd have won every trophy known to man and Dickov would have scored 250 goals per season.

Oh and wouldn't it be nice if all our players were Manchester born and bred and we used jumpers for goalposts?

If this turns out to be true, then we need to get a creative midfielder in, the team is seriously lacking in creativity.

No more dms, no more grafters, not because you dont need grafters, but because we have those already.

Grafters alone wont get you trophies, Tevez and Ireland are the only two players we have with any creativity, and thats not enough.
