Sergio’s injury record and his ability (or lack of) to press the ball is the real concern I think, not his age.

Lewandowski is THE best #9 in the world

He's better than Kane, Haaland and the current version of Aguero (who's injuries are a bigger concern than his age)

Difference between Lewandowski and Aguero is his injury record, Aguero has been injured every season since he joined us for some length of time whereas Lewandowski is pretty much injury free and has a good 2/3 years left in him

Not saying we should go all out but personally I'd love for us to sign him

That’s a bit disingenuous. Aguero’s had constant injury issues the past couple of seasons and hardly seen the pitch, let alone put up even close to the numbers that Lewandowski has.

I agree with the sentiment that there’s no point us replacing an ageing striker with one of the same age, but Lewandowski is reliable and still producing world class numbers season after season.

We all know Aguero’s ability, but whether he can consistently be fit or be the same player as he once was is still a big question mark.

He’s scored about 100 goals in about 125 matches.

Juventus’s failings firstly lay in their monopoly type league and then their incompetent manager and average squad. Ronaldo’s pulled them out of the mire fistfuls of times.
