Robert Lewandowski

100 goals fewer than Lewandowski over the last 5 seasons. That's a HUGE difference.
When you are the number 9 of a team that is ridiculously dominant in a league in which everyone knows your team will win, this happens. I’m not saying Lewandowski isn’t brilliant, but I‘m saying that if Sergio had been playing for Bayern these last 5 seasons, he naturally would have better goalscoring numbers

No he wouldn't because he wouldn't have stayed fit and you know that.

Might be wrong, but I think Guardiola has only ever gone back to fish in a pond twice; he bought Thiago for Bayern and Bravo for us. As accomplished a player as Lewandowski is, Guardiola strikes me as someone who prefers to work with someone new- it keeps him fresh as well, so I just don’t see us signing him.

You’re being silly. I am saying: compared to his numbers at City, not to Lewa’s numbers. Playing the same number of games he played here
And although Lewa’s injury history is comparable to Ronaldo, Bayern did miss him badly against PSG

This is what I was hinting at earlier. It’s not a move he would make... or the club

Surely shit? This doesnt fit our recruitment policy of the last few years at all

€60M? Lol
Like I said, the ESPN story doesn’t pass the basic smell test. But that hasn’t stopped the Danny Ings thread from having 33 pages, so fasten your seatbelts

I thought you were implying Agüero would have better numbers than Lewandowski. That is how your post was phrased.
Yes Agüero would have had better numbers in the last season or 2 if he had started week in week out when fit. But if that is the point you are making then you aren't really making a point at all. Lewandowski is still quite obviously the more reliable option at their current age, and your point doesn't even slightly change that fact.

BTW Bayern don't create more chances than us, generally.

This is the equivalent of telling a younger child in the playground that the panini sticker swap of Robbie Earle you have over a dozen times that you're offering them for the shiny city badge sticker is an equal trade.

Not a chance in hell, we're letting a similar aged Aguero go so we can get the future in, why the hell would we pay £60 million for the same thing that would need replacing next summer or 2 at best and giving bayern the funds to buy the future themselves. Whichever journalist made this shit up should be sacked, if they were this incompetent at any other job they'd be sacked within a day.
