We win Sunday and it's "Crisis time" at Chelsea.

We also put 7 points between us and them.

Come on city. Nail them
Exactly. I'm flummoxed as to why people think this is a bad thing as far as we're concerned. It's only ever a bad thing if the fans of that opposition club wanted their manager out and they are then presented with a new manager, one they want before their next game. As far as I know the Chelsea fans weren't overly unhappy with RDM, not to the point they wanted him out, therefore the mood at the Bridge on Sunday will be somber, unless Pep comes in and I can't see that happening. TS reported just now there's been no approach to Rafa and that comes from Balague. As posted earlier the rumour is Grant could be asked to take the reins until whenever, and that would be absolutely hilarious. Not ONE person at the club would be up for it on Sunday if that happened.
This couldn't have happened at a better time (for us).

i really hope we keep mancini for years to come. it's times like this that make you want to hold the ones you love.

like st helens said, we really need to smash chelsea on sunday.

It's times like this I appreciate Sheikh Mansour and Khaldoon's steady leadership. Imagine Bobby winning the CL and then sacked 12 games into the next season. People go on and on about the money but it's also patient leadership that has put us in this position.

Really feel bad for the Chelsea fans, what an embarrassment for that club.

Stability has and always will be the key to success. Let's be honest here,Chelsea got lucky last year in the champions league but fair play to them, they won it.

As City fans we all know that changing manager constantly just does not work.

This will certainly cause problems for Chelsea and can only be a good thing for our title defence.

Forza Mancini.

When you look at the trophies Chelsea have won since Roman took over, or the trophies Real Madrid have won in the last 20 years, or even AC Milan - it makes a mockery of the "Stability is the key to success" argument. Stability is part of what can make a club successful if the right person is in charge.

As City fans what we know is that our club has a fantastic track record of appointing the wrong manager as opposed to sacking the right one.

Definitely only a good thing for our title defence.

Forza Mancini (until May).
