Roberto Mancini - next Italy manager

Roberto will always have a special place in our history, but now Pep is our future. It's the right progression imo, and hopefully when it's time for him to leave, we will all remember Pep fondly for what he has done for the team and supporters .

Can't see the problem personally.

Never will but Mancini like every other manager that has been in charge since Book when i was a kid have come and gone and like them, Pep will also move on one day.

I dont get all that emotionally attached to them, its best that way given most of them turn out to be a bit shit, most fuck off as and when it suits them anyway and the few that are any good will also go regardless one day.

By all means have fond memories but at some point, the constant opening of old wounds on here has to stop imo.
It might be a girl thing but i got very attached to bobby,he really got us,what the battle with the rags, the banner etc meant to us.Threads like this go down hill because certain people seem to value the fact that he was a **** over what he did for us,i find that a shame,we should give him all the credit for what he achieved in the league,he was an important stepping stone to where we are now,it doesn't alter the fact i am beyond excited to have pep and the future,i'm an adult so i can do both

But I think that is what people are doing, showing gratitude. No one is arguing mate but I think you posted on a Richard Dunne thread not so long ago. Its just natural to look back, particularly to events only three yrs ago and a man who ended the drought. I do not see what is wrong with that, looking back at the history of the club
I'd like to think that my previous post expressed my gratitude to RM. And yes, I probably did post in the Dunne thread. Anyone can post what they like (within reason) on here. And with that, I'll opt out of the thread. Anything else I post will be seen as "anti-Mancini". Which is nonsense of course. But, as I said before, I'm not interested in arguments with anyone.

The thread was going along quite nicely with a discussion about what is happening currently with Mancini until some posters just couldn't help themselves and had to jump in to have a dig. So who exactly is opening the old wounds?
