Roberto Mancini

Is it fcuk all that matters when it comes to fondness/appreciation. Mourinho’s a better manager than almost everyone, when trophies are the criterion, but he’s still a cnut. Would you have welcomed him to the Etihad?
No, but Pep isn’t Mourinho. Also the Pep doesn’t get City thing always trotted out is complete bollocks too.
We’ve all got fond memories of Mancini, I have fond memories of Mercer too. Doesn’t stop me appreciating what Pep has brought in trophies and in record breaking great football. When I look back Pep will be up there with the memories that Mancini and others back in the day gave me, and hopefully a few managers yet to com.
Whats weird are those fans that have it in for Pep, just because he isn’t Mancini, haven’t noticed that you’ve been one of them but there are a few around.

Only on bluemoon can some have a downer on Mancini but get themselves loved up for Gareth bloody Southgate.
An interesting scenario I've been playing round my head for most of the day is if the managers had swapped places would the result have been different. Could Southgate have galvanised the Italian team as Mancini has, and would Mancini drool over the players he had in the England squad?

If we had swapped managers Italy wouldn’t even be in the final, but Mancini would definately have beaten a waistcoat led Italy.

For me we ( the club) got rid far too soon he’s the bloke for me always will be he got us the the fans got him , too many ex-players call him out to much ..he said he’d rip the the rag banner down and that he did . Couldn’t care less if he didn’t have a brew after training with the players he wasn’t there for that .He was there to establish city at the top table and that he delivered.
The club owe Bobby a huge debt.
gutted for last night but he deserved his Wembley night out last night.

Of course it matters if Pep is a better manager, it’s all that matters.
Doesn’t make Mancini’s time any less of the great manager he was for us. Just that Peps better.
With that in mind, would it be ok for someone's favourite player or striker to be The Goat?

You wouldn't say he realistically holds a candle to our recent crop but hard to argue the man isn't an absolute hero to so many and rightly so..........
