Roberto Mancini

I don't know why you wouldn't like Mancini

I could answer that but I fear there'd be tears before the sun does down. :)

Suns already down in Manchester mate

Jokes aside, i am actually intrigued to know where the dislike comes from

"I can't believe anyone would hate him" is the last tiny, grassless square of moral high ground in the middle of a boiling ocean of truth for the last of the Robertohicans.

It's what "anyone who wants him gone is a rag ****" has finally shrivelled into now that the Sheikh and Khaldoon proved to be amongst the "ungrateful/so called fan/wankers". It's a final, feeble attempt to reignite a lost war. It's rendered even more laughable and transparent by the fact that nobody ever posts that they do hate him.

Let it go, Chris. He's gone. We all know how much you adored him abut you need to learn to live with the loss and the defeat. There really and truly is no need to keep posting variants of the same thing to try to get a rise.

War is over. You fought his corner long and hard but you don't need to any more. Dry your eyes, mate.

Dave you couldn't be more wrong fella

I've never been involved with any of the old Mancini arguments as I wasn't bothered when he left. I also remember you PMing me after someone started the 'happy losers' thread as I'd made it clear in that thread that Pellegrini was doing a great job and that despite the 'happy losers' title that some were labelling us I was still firmly behind Pellegrini, so at no point have I ever made it clear that I'm a Mancini flag waver

It was a simple question as to why a handful of people clearly don't like Mancini, and I can't get my head round why, but despite the question I'm genuinely not bothered what the reasons are I just find it baffling

It's quite simple Chris. You're not allowed to still like him and compare him to the current incumbent. Any attempt to do so will be met with the usual belittling condescension and treated as treason against the "owners" wishes.

I don't know, chris. It just seems to be you and the same 2 or 3 others popping up repeatedly asking the same daft and heavily loaded question. I don't remember you as one of the chief antagonists at the time, but most of those are banned now.

He was an emotive subject, and still is, because in my opinion by the end he divided the forum neatly into the "haves" and "have nots". And there are still one or two from the "have nots" who are spoiling for revenge. And there is a little forum full of these people who use the subject to wind people up.

You can claim "I'm just curious" as much as you want but you know as well as I do it's just an attempt to start a row, and it never happens during the 90% of the time we are playing well. The people you claim 'hate' Mancini in general don't because they don't know him. They just don't rate him that highly and perhaps get exasperated at the selective memories one or two show, and the way some people put hero worship over common sense.

If I kept posting "I'm just curious as to why some worship him so much after all the shit he left behind" it would cause a massive row, because it's a simplistic and irrelevant discussion. So leave it out, eh?

The current incumbent is called Manuel "stop gap" Pellegrini in case you were unsure.

The "owners" btw are the actual owners. The ones who hire, fire, etc. maybe one day that'll sink in and you'll stop acting like five posters on Bluemoon who didn't think the sun shone out of the Italian's arse were the ones who decided his fate.

You can't buy class like that mate!
So true.
I use the term 'share' lightly.
I've sent him one, everyday, for nearly two years and not a word.
