I've never had the pleasure of seeing Cavani play live so i can't really pass judement on his overall play and that's how i like to assess players.

Napoli style of play is counter attacking where Arsenal play in front of you on the edge of the box so hard to compare players playing differant styles.

Arsenal's style of play is closer to the way we play so i can see the RVP fit, so to speak.

Don't get me wrong, i wouldn't turn my nose up at Cavani but i can only judge what i've seen live and i like what i've seen.

I understand your reasoning and that's fair enough, but for me it's Cavani all day. He was unplayable at our place and I've watched him a lot for Napoli since then. His pace, movement, heading ability, composure and age just make him perfect.

Could he partner Aguero though?

Aguero has to be the lead man, as does Cavani, what would give?

RVP would drop off Aguero and work around him, it's a partnership made in heaven, imho

Whilst I agree that RVP - Aguero would work well, his age and injury record seriously, and I mean SERIOUSLY concern me.

I'd love Cavani here, it's not a case of either or for me. More a case of me wishing we were going for Cavani all out and not RVP, mainly because of the concerns I listed before.

Last season RVP was without doubt the best player i saw at the Etihad.

His movement and ability to stretch a defence to create space for others is second only to Aguero.

When i imagine RVP alongside Aguero with Silva and Nasri behind them my mouth starts to water, here's hoping!

Cavani is too similar to Dzeko, we already have the problem with Dzeko not fitting in our system.

I know plenty want Cavani because he's younger, played very well against us, probably isn't nearly half the twat RVP is nor as injury prone, but RVP is the better footballer at the minute and would be a much, much better partner for Aguero IMO. People discard the rest of his game because he's having to play as Arsenals only striker, but his link up is top class. He's just an exceptionally well rounded footballer.

Personally I would get rid of dzeko who is just to inconsistant and we cant afford him and ballo in the squad as they are as inconsistant as eachother but ballo has more potential as shown in the euros. Van persie is exactly what we need, hes proven and scores goals at the tricky away grounds regularly which cant be said for any of our forward besides tevez.

Hes amazing at home but a lot of his away performances were quite average, hopefully he will get better next season though as he gets more used to league and he is still very young.

Aguero - white hart lane, mould trafford, carrow road, craven cottage, emirates, all come immediately to mind, not too shabby for a first season, but I take your point about rvp

Can not believe people still want Tevez in our starting line up!! Personally i will never forgive him and I never want to see him wear our shirt again.

RVP maybe a bit of a **** but come on compared to tevez? I loved tevez for how he bought our club on and i must admit a big part of me always will. Fair enough he did come back and provided that last impetus we needed to get over the line, but had he not gone AWOL trying to force a move away on the cheap we would have won't the league at a canter, i loved him and want him to go so i can remember the good times.

Balo, i love but he's not yet ready. Van persie ain't going to get any better but IMO he's by far the best option out there to make a impact for next season for us. We also won't have to rely on him so much as the gunners so hopeful he won't have the same injury worries. Great if we get him i'm fine if we don't, we now can attract plenty of top quality players.
