ide rather have cavani if we must go for a striker , having RVP is the same as having dzeko , dzeko is a great player but the system we play in doesnt do him justice , whats the point of having RVP aswell ? atleast cavani is a moving type of player just like aguero , he will tire defenses and create space for other players , but just what would RVP do ? will he add somthing we dont have already ? look at the last tournament with netherland , if we dont feed him while hes in the box we're not getting goals from him , there is no point spending alot on him

Well if you don`t know by now what RVP can do,you know very little about football.

ok consider that i know 'very little about football ' and share your wisdom , tell me what is he bringing to us ? somthing we dont have already ! watched him for 5 seasons if not more hes a good player , not worth 20 mill in his last year and a 200 a week wages ! but still im open mided , enlighten me plz

Well lets consider the facts about what RVP could give to our team.
We have shown in the CL that we are desperate for someone with experience and a seasoned goalscorer at this level.
The guy is brave and goes in where some of our other forwards would flinch and maybe that is one of the reasons that he has missed games for the Gunners over the past few seasons.
He creates space and has a brilliant eye for finding others in space.
Anyone who can create 92 goalscoring opportunities for his team mates is for me an extrordinary talent and one that would be well worth the £20M which you are quoting.
I would ignore what you saw in the Euros,as many a good player didn`t show his worth for his country.
Based on the main factor for me,our Manager wants this player and that is more than good enough for me.

I'm with you, i wouldnt have any striker over Aguero, he's young and will only get better, we need to keep Tevez too as the seasons long but RVP and Aguero would be the best strike force in world football
