lol that thing still makes me cringe, imagine how utd fans feel seeing that absolute fail.

read the top review. spat my brew out

That was quality ... true blue humour

I've just had both my legs amputated and was feeling understandably less than enthusiastic about my future, but that was before I got this jigsaw of Nick Humby brought into hospital as a present, and now the future looks bright and I'm raring to go! In fact when I first unwrapped this jigsaw (at first I thought it was some slippers!) I fell out of my bed! This is because Nick Humby just happens to be my favourite ever man u financial director. Seeing Nick's happy, smiling face as he 'cooks the books' (ensuring the club can afford to spend top-dollar on the best players in Europe such as Bebe and Michael Owen) gave me a warm glow inside as I clambered back into my bed with the aid of a couple of nurses. This is one jigsaw I cannot wait to complete just as soon as I am back on my feet. My only quibble is the tie, which might have been a natty little green and gold number with a picture of sralic ferguson dressed as a red devil on the front. But beggars can't be choosers

thats the one.

It simply doesn't matter how bad a day you may be having - knowing you have the Humby Jigsaw to come home to just makes everything better.

Even the mere act of getting the box out (from the deepest recess of my shed - can't have Mrs Mohawk seeing it.....she wouldn't understand) and the sheer adrenaline rush of seeing Humby's beaming boatrace on the cover makes me stand taller, talk more confidently, be better at DIY and an absolute alpha male when the ladies are around.

Why, just the other day, I'd had a terrible day at work (I'd been given a warning for putting an apple pie in the company's server), got drenched on the way home, seen 4 muggings and 2 road accidents, watched as a dog killed a cat and was just overwhelmed by the crushing realisation that we are tiny, insignificant specks in a vast and uncaring universe.

Or rather, I was until got The Humby out......everything seemed better....the days longer, the sunshine brighter, my life again full of purpose and my wife's smile even more beautiful.....

Of course, I haven't completed it yet......why rush a good thing?

apologies for going off topic.

United have just had a bid turned down by Arsenal, according to TS.

It was always highly unlikely that "a tin of beans and packet of pork scratchings" would be enough to secure RvP.

Don't forget the massive sack of 'istree.

Taggart might have to empty the bags of loose change under his eyes at this rate................. pisscan

Brilliant!

All this is, is Man U trying to show that they can 'compete' with us. They'll probably 'bid' for loads of players, knowing they don't have the cash but it means they'll be in the media spotlight and showing all their fans they're trying to sign the best players.

As much as i appreciate that TH seems to know quite a bit, i would rather he didnt post these Videos because all it does is get me excited that something is very close to happeneing but the past 2 weeks we seem to be no further forward than we are back. Just tell us whats happening lol.

ps- only want RVP if Edin is moving on. At the minute Edin stays quiet when it comes to sitting on the bench now and again, but cant see this with Van Persie. He is a step up in quality from Edin but i feel he could have a negaitve impact on other members of the squad if he is stuck on the bench or his arrival makes Tevez bench cound.

Tolmie are you saying that like the miners strike was the final battle to crush the power of the unions. The battle for RVP will finally break the perceived power of the rags?
Or am I on the wrong track?

I'd say its more like RVP has told them to get it sorted and he's not willing to do the pre season tour as he has no intentions of being at Arsenal.

I'd ge surprised if these bids aren't just Arsenal trying to invoke more action and interest as they rush to sell.

No probs. Nothings saying I'm right, its just the way I interpret it all.

What's clear is RVP relinquished Arsenals strong selling position with hid stance. Something was agreed a ling time ago imo. His talk of always being a gooner before end of season all ties in.
