Spent yesterday with a Gooner season ticket holder. She was a business consultant type and was up north to show us how it is suppose to be done. She has done work for the club in the past and recently. When she found out I was City fan she congratulated us on our win, slagged of Arsen, hated United and slagged of RVP. Although Any mention of City is frowned upon within the club She did however confess that she and her friends likes watching City and the ex Arsenal players and see at as what they could have achieved if only the manager and board had taken some chances. She wants us to have him but thinks he is over hyped (typical Gooner response to anyone leaving) and before anyone asks... Yes I would and no I didn't

If you would that sounds good enough to me.

Can't understand why you didn't, tell her my number is..............or ask her to message me.

I will then instead! ;)

He expects football clubs to be run as a business operating within means devalues winning any trophy with a loss of 150m. :-)

The man is not in touch with reality. :-)

He is like the modern CEO who is constantly giving out the same lines on restructuring and making savings as it it is very important to keep costs within budgetry levels whilst at the same time being the highest paid Manager in the country and creaming the same club he loves so much.

He always ensures his contract is always renewed and at the maximium remuneration unlike it seems his best players!!!

I personally think he is over rated vastly, most of the players he claims to have nurtured were nearly all claimed from other clubs academies and I don't see him offering them any sympathy.

In short fook Wenger he is a Dick of the highest order and Arse fans are the biggest fookin whingers in the country and they pay over £1500 for their season tickets, Fuckwits the lot of them.

"Glanville: Van Persie would be mad to go to Man City"

I see that bitter old fool still can't help himself, he's the reason I canceled my World Soccer subscription after a disgustingly bitter article about us not so long ago.

Did he happen to explain his comment?

Did... oh just seen the last line, never mind.

One year ago on this day the Telegraph published this article: "Manchester United confident of luring Samir Nasri from Arsenal in £20 million deal" #justsaying
Correct and a couple of days later Ferguson announced in his press conference that they had pulled out of the race to sign him...reason agents fees...now for what it's worth I was told (edit) 2 weeks today that Utd had been approached informally by RVP/reps to see if they would be interested In signing him in the summer... the rags response was positive but only if the numbers were right...with this in mind I just can't see him going to the rags...they will not meet the transfer fee or the wages..the only way RVP goes there is if he really wants to and no other club is an option

Give it a week or so and I bet you get the same line coming out of the swamp...that they have pulled out of the race to sign RVP

The only thing bothering me here is why Mancini hasn't said anything about this deal or given the slightest indication that we are indeed in for him. All i see and hear are paper talk and if I remember distinctly during the transfers of kun and nasri, he said something like we are working on a deal to get those players..

Mancini came out and said he's an Arsenal player and he has to respect that.

The squad list has been removed from the official site... Being edited?

Nobody can deny Mancini wants Van Persie after what he was saying towards the end of last season. I think that after buying their best players Mancini might actually feel a bit sorry for Wenger and is therefore showing him respect by not talking about RVP until he is a blue.

I also think him not playing Dzeko is indicating he is going. He's come out and said that he wants him to stay but surely if he came out and said I dont want dzeko, a team would pay less because we obviously want to offload (ie. Adebayor) and if the RVP deal didnt come off he would have an unhappy Dzeko.

Either way we are going to have a strong strike force again, wether Dzeko stays or RVP joins.
