If RVP goes to the Rags as Ferguson is reportedly saying then we are fucked. Will be lucky to finish third in the Premier League at this rate.

The Swamp have a shithole of shit physios, good luck to RVP if he's ever considered heading there.

i dont believe the media, none of my rag mates think they'll get him. they already are full in the strikers department. Rooney, Welbeck, hernandez, berbatov, macheda. where would he play? and they signed that japanese guy whos an attacker so i dont think this is real.

I think you have to at least recgnise that with the return of Vivic, Katagawa and potentially RvP then are likely to score more and concede less

We have some major holes in the squad if we lose Kompany and or Yaya that we simply cannot cover adequately - so rags will be stronger next season

Chelski wont / cant be as bad as last season and will be stronger and have bought some decent players

If we stand still as we seem to be doing then potentially 3rd is possible not sure ts likely but you would a fool to dismiss it - there will be fook all between the top 3 next season - the line between success and failure will be marginal

Rooney and RVP together looks pretty damn good. Think he'd fluorish there.

These story's of pisshead being interested come out every time we are linked to anyone. I mean, how many times have we heard the"he preferred us but went for money"line coming from nited fans, only to find out AGAIN it was a load of bollox

They must be havin trouble shiftin season tickets

I don't think it would be disastrous by any means if the rags get RVP, theres no guarantee he will reproduce the form he showed this season for them, he is injury prone, and with pretty much no sell-on value and a high wage demand, it won't exactly ease their debts.

As long as we strengthen our squad, ie. cover for centre back and midfield, we will be fine. Our strikers are good enough and I'm not sure RVP would offer much more to our team than Dzeko does already.

Don't get me wrong, I'd be happy if we do get him, but i just think it's a bit of a gamble when we could go for someone like Cavani who tore us apart in Europe last season. I'd much rather we just go for him to be perfectly honest, get rid of Tevez then focus on strengthening areas of the squad that actually require it.

lol, i know theres some debate on here about rvp - but macheda!!! lol

They're shifting Berbatov, so it's not unthinkable that Ferguson wants him badly. Hernandez is far too limited to start for a top club these days, players of his type are dying out, offers nothing outside the box. Welbeck is progressing well but RVP would be pretty much ideal for them given his age/experience and proven prem player.

Fergie realistically will not be at the rags for much more than a few more years - his priority is to win the PL back - that he has stated publically - Welbeck has only 12 months or so left on a contract and Berbaflop is off- RvP is a good fit he would get similar dosh but would be likely to win things

rvp is world class however i do not want us to sign him, would have to pay both a hefty fee and wages for a player who hasnt got many more years at the top, would much rather buy somebody like falcao or cavani who could play in our team for 5/6 years.

I remember when Fergie bought Berbaflop it was reported that he said, "he would never buy a player near the end of his career with minimum sell on fees again".
Since Fergie is obviously in the twilight of his own career I wonder if he will go against this policy to try and ensure he wins one last title before he steps down?

Do they want to sign for us? Just get RVP, him and Aguero with our midfield! RVP also has loads of champs league experience. No brainer, if he`s hear 4 years and we keep winning trophies, job done. PS. and Martinez.
