A guy on my Facebook who I used to go school with who also used to play for united youth teams has just put on his Facebook that van Persie is having a medical at united, he said he's heard off people at united, probably bullshit but thought I'd say.

Because Arsenal will be reluctant to sell to City or Utd, and RVP may not want to deal with the bad blood that Nasri and Adebayor have had to put up with

Also Utd's need for a striker is more than ours.

RVP would be an automatic starter at Utd and Juve. He wouldn't be here, and he would not be the main man

When fit, Van Persie would very much be the main man and him & Aguero would be first choice. Wether he would play every game is unclear due to strength of squad, but he would start every big game.

Aguero, world class player though he is, does not have the all round game that Van Persie has. Van Persie would find the little runs he makes in between back 4s no problem though and IF we get RVP then him & Aguero would be a frightening prospect. Though the same can be said of him & shrek, so for that reason I hope he comes here.
