I think you can rule out the rags as they have recently refused to pay what Sao Paulo want for Lucas Moura. Juventus wanted to sign Edin Dzeko and Sergio Aguero at the time we were very interested in signing them players. Unless they have the funds to match us this is looking increasing unlikely.

Yes our owners have the finance but whether we choose to be the highest bidder with every player we chase is another question.

Not a bad player still can do a very good job at top club. We had forced the rags to pay over the odds for him, but I remebered when he destroyed us in when he was playing for Spurs and he did well last season for them.

Didn't say RVP's 3rd choice. Said I'd make City 3rd favourites to sign him. Arsenal come into it as well, and you have to take into a/c that we'd have to find a buyer for Tevez/Balotelli/Dzeko and maybe Adebayor to make this work.

I still think we'd be getting a good deal if we signed him for under £25m. We'd get a good two or three years out of him and another couple of titles.

We can get £20m out of Milan for Dzeko, so our net spend will essentially be nothing, especially now it seems that Santa Cruz is finally on his way out.

I get info every once in about 2 years mate, but I've not been wrong yet.
