Regardless of the ITKs on here never thought this was a runner for several reasons.

1) VP does not fit the profile of any of our signings. Too old.
2) He is whatever anyone says an injury risk.
3) Arsenal wouldn't want to sell us a virus after everything that went down in the past.
4)We have 4 talented strikers already and have still to offload a couple of others Ade, RSC.
5) Mancini has always wanted Cavani. RVP is a smokescreen. Mancini says nice things about him, keeping our options open. RVP may have been a fall back if Tevez had exited, but he's staying.
6) In addition after 8 years in England it's fair to assume VP might like something different. Always thought he'd go to Barca.

1.his skill far out weighs his age and what he can bring to city in the next 2-3 years.
2.we have a good rotation system and quality strikers to make sure he wont be burned out.
3.clichy,nasri,ady,kolo if they want to leave as proven arsenal wont be able to stop them.
4.RVP is better than at least dzeko.
5.if mancini had i=his way he would have both RVP and cavani getting rid og tevez and dzeko.
