United where unlucky with injuries.
Apart from the obvious, Uniteds season wasnt too dissimilar to ours (league points and champs league). A year older defence isnt going to effect them that much.

Yep, he's a Rag. Get the **** banned.

The fucking board is crawling with them this evening. We might have to pull an overnight at this rate, pal.

If it must be done, it will be fucking done.

Martyn you have to take into account our boys will now have a self-believe of winning things together more than ever, sure they won the FA Cup last year but the Prem is another level, it's a marathon and they all did it together in the best possible way. They will have a brilliant mentality of fighting to the very end of matches now due to that day v QPR, I expect us to improve our points tally this season, can't say the same of United.

We also played pretty much the whole season without Tevez.

And they have an aging defence (Rio, Vidic, Evra) and centre of midfield (Scholes, Carrick).

I don't even think Utd will finish 2nd next season (between us and Chelsea for the title, with us winning the title in the 95th minute on the last day at home to Norwich).

United where unlucky with injuries.

Apart from having a piss easier group and finishing on less points than us?

Haha!! True.

We won the league level on points last season with United. If they improve their squad and we dont only one team is going to win next season. And it wont be us.

We need to improve our squad asap!!

With all due respect........Bollocks.

We will have a fit and fired up Tevez back, and several players becoming more comfortable with the way the team plays. With NO signings we will get better.
United have Ferdinand, Scholes, Giggs and Ferguson getting close to the end of their careers. Smalling and Jones aren't adequate replacements. Given his injury, Vidic may never be the same player. Rooney just had a year he will never repeat. If they get RVP, he could certainly make a difference IF he can stay off the treatment table, but will also never repeat the season he just had.
Kagawa looks like a good player, but he isn't going to win them the league single handedly.
