Hey Sharston I went to school there ......did you go to Sharston or are you too young to remember it ?

Moved to Sharston 10 years ago, where the old community farm used to be. Now moved to Cheadle three weeks ago so I guess I should change my name...

Not going to lie, a Rooney/van Persie partnership with Welbeck off the bench isn't something I would look forward to.

To be fair, i'd say Aguero and Tevez with Balotelli and Dzeko on the bench is still superior.

I would agree with you on that!

Be interesting to see what partnership a neutral would choose though.

I can't see Welbeck being too chuffed either.

Reported today he's going to sign a new five year deal.

He's 21 so he'll have to do his time on the bench I guess. Although, he just needs to wait till November when van Persie gets injured and then we also thank our lucky stars we didn't sign him...

Yeah, CheadlePoshBlue it is from now on

What a load of old shit, this is all getting a bit like sneijder last season...

The last thing sir malc wants is spending money plus no value in the transfer market lest we forget..

I find the whole saga rather entertaining and very hilarious..

More from the utd circus please!!!

The report on Setantas website says 'reportedly' Wenger has agreed to sell to Utd for 22m. Not a single hint of who that 'report' has come from though.

SSN saying Wenger wont sell to a prem rival.

Its a steal.

I don't think so - with all their debt, and the fact that they now have external shareholders to satisfy, as well as their huge annual interest burden, this is £22M for which they will get no resale value - he needs to win them the CL for it to be a steal, and I dont think they are good enough for that

Its an awesome deal for United RVP and Rooney will be dangerous
