Good, I can carry on hating the diving twat, didn't want him at City, our 4 strikers are still better than their 4.
Both top scorers last season on the same team.... Vidic will also be back... Added to that that most mid table/bottom end teams seem to lay down for them! It's gonna be even tougher than last season for us.brummie blue said:Thaksins Love Child said:Tevez and Kun anyway of the weekArmaan said:Rvp and Rooney.... Don't want to get quoted on red cafe but I am absolutelt shitting it.....
This.... Would take our forwards over there's any time, and I bet RVP doesn't stay fit anyway
We won't need to win it on GD this year.argyle said:Could of sworn ITK's said he was holding out for us.
Didn't want him at City as we have Aguero and Tevez, but certainly didn't want him going to the scum - the goal difference which we won the league on won't be as big a gap this year!
Big Dave Watson said:fucking joke. somebody at city wants their fucking arse kicking. this **** has put utd right back in the game.
"I'll start by saying that Van Persie is a great player, and if Dzeko had left this summer I would have had him here straight off but now that it appears Dzeko is staying there's no room in our squad for him, so it would have been pointless stockpiling.
But United are signing an up until recently injury-prone 29-year-old that will only slightly improve them for a year or two to try and convince everyone that you can still compete with us when it comes to buying players - even though we pulled out of the race for Van Persie around a month ago. You've paid £24m on a player with a year left on his contract rather than splitting it in half and going for a LB and a CM, which are the positions you are in dire need of improvement in. Not only that, but you've bought him for £14m more than your initial bid. It's rare that clubs increase an offer by that much, hence why I think it's a desperate signing.
And for years United fans like yourself have accused of "destroying" the careers of players like James Milner, Adam Johnson and now Jack Rodwell by signing better players in their positions. You've now gone and done exactly the same thing by signing Van Persie in a desperate attempt to try and win "your" title back. What's going to happen to the Welbeck and Rooney partnership now that Van Persie is there? When Van Persie reaches 31 and starts to decline, Welbeck and Rooney's partnership will be left undeveloped.
City have got right under United's skin now. This signing proves it."
