I did the best I could to trace the TV3 story for a source, my catalan is non existent so have relied on a translator but this seems to be from the TV3 source. (No quotes and if my maths is correct they are out on the salary as well ?)

That to me proves it's bullshit LOL when you read it, it becomes obvious fairly quickly that they are up Barca's arse. Quite clearly theve come up with some bollocks to keep the Barca fans happy. It states they will come in for Robinho because they wont get Ribery or Villa with no quotes whats so ever and no evidence to back it up. I'm quite sure Barca will land Villa for around £40m so believe me they won't be in for Robinho.

I do not understand why some of you are so in love with this guy. If Barca offered 35 million after what we paid for him last August, then Hughes, Mubarak and co. should bite their hand off.

He went missing during the winter, and is an all-around head-case.

Having said that, I don't believe Barca would pay that amount for him, and I do believe we should keep him unless we can bring in a class left winger. For those reasons I believe he will be here next year.

Even if he did "go missing in winter" he was still our top scorer, where would we be without his goals?

We don't need to sell players, why "snap their hands off" for 35 million when he was in the top 5 scorers in the league in his first season?
I'd like to see your proof of him being an "all-around-head-case". Thank you please.

And for all those faults he finished 4th highest scorer in the toughest league in Europe while still settling in to a team in development ? Yeah sod it we dont need money lets just sack him !

It would be nice if the club posted something on the official site rubbishing these storys.

What if they're not rubbish...

Apparently it happens from time to time where a player will have a clause in his contract allowing him to leave on loan to a champions league club if his current club does not qualify for it. Then, if the club that owns him qualifies during the next season, the player will return to that club at the end of the loan. If they don't qualify, the player will move to the club he joined on loan for a pre-determined price.

I guess that could be what's happening here.

Such an astonishing story would surely have been dismissed by now if it were not true. Wouldn't it? It's not like we're talking about Tal Ben Haim here, it's Robinho ffs. It would have been dismissed in a heartbeat. I'm quite scared now.

Your scared trev? Lol, calm down pal. I highly doubt this is true, seeing as Robinho has stated twice this summer that he actually wants to stay at City. We've no reason to sell. As for not dismissing it, well, if we did that for every "astonishing story" we'd never do anything else.
