Robinho hopes for Santos stay

I disagree with the bit about the reserves,i would like to think that the reserve team would be made up of players on the way back from injury, and youngsters eager to take a step nearer the first team squad.

Why should this complete and utter waste of place, deprive somebody,of a place in the reserves that wants to be at our club.

Get shot of him altogether, even at a knock down price. You need people like Robinho at you club, like you need people like Berbatov.

I think what will happen will be a straight swap with neymar and ganso - but we'll let the said pair stay at santos to get more experience....something along those lines anyway.

Im sure robi will have a great world cup and his value will rocket.

As previously stated.. fuck him, the bastard!

32 million we payed, he lit the league on fire in his first season.

No he didn't. He scored one goal that was worthy of any merit (vs. Arsenal). The rest were tap-ins. He scored an amazing goal in the UEFA Cup, but apart from that he did nothing. The sooner he's off our books the better.

Really sad.
A
World class talent when in the mood, but with a pea-sized heart and an ego the size of the Death star.

Totally deluding himself that playing what basically amounts to beach football with his mates in Brazil is somehow going to make people believe that he's "the best in the world."

One of those people that says one thing to you and something totally different to the next person.

Best forgotten about. At least we're in a position to be able to move on.

He's just saying what he knows the Santos supporters want to hear.

I imagine it's far more likely that he'll be used as a makeweight in one of our summer deals, than us allowing him to stay at Santos for another season. IIRC he signed a three year contract with us, so he'll be entering the final year of it next season. It would be bad business to let him run it down and fuck off for free.
4 year contract, so he'll still have another 2 at the end of this one.

What he needs to remember is that we own him during his prime, and we can rob him of the chance of playing during that time.

Time he showed City a bit more respect tbh.

Each month he is away from us should, if somehow possible, be added on to the contract he has with us so we are always in control of being able to sell him to get best value and not have him running his contract down.

Bit harsh, scored a quality freekick against Chelsea and a very good goal away at Blackburn which got us a point in the last minute.

He was quality in his 1st season, its a shame he is a complete egotistical tool and likes to have his head stroked all the time.

If he comes back it will do far more damage than good so let him go.
