Robinho (Merged)

Just read Shay Givens interview on SSN he seems certain that Robbie will be back at City in the summer reading between the lines either Robbie has told the players he will be back and if we get in the Champions league you can bet he will be back over here in a shot.
Or Robbie has told the player's a load of shite just to get out of the club that still hold his playing contact either he comes back or we sell him for the £32 million that we paid for him either way its a win win for City. And he did play great last night.
So i am not worried either way

I thought he was just as shit as usual, Brazil were boring and predictable. Most of their squad has engineered moves back to Brazil, you watch after the world cup when they'll be after the money again. Worst Brazil team for a long time and they have no chance in the world cup.

Maybe not up to the high standards of old Brazil teams, but to say that they have no chance is laughable.

TBH, I would not be surprised if Brazil WON the World Cup this summer.

No chance in the world cup? Who are you trying to kid? They might not be as good as they used to be but they've still got enough quality to go and win the world cup. In their qualifying campaign they started of pretty poorly but Dunga changed a few things and sorted out the defensve and during the second half of the campaign they were excellent and qualified with ease

Under Dunga they've sacrified flair for a more functional, and efficient style. They're better defensively, and can grind out results alot better than in the past, but if you want the style and flair that the Brazil teams of the past had, then you might be disappointed. Because of how Dunga has changed them though, I think they have a great chance of winning the WC, mainly because they can defend alot better. But yeah, this Brazil team doesn't really have the same excitement factor Brazil teams of the past had.

Robbie tells people what they want to hear

Robinho has always told people what he would like them to hear. He has strung people along from the first day he arrived. "I want to be the best player in the world, I will be the King of Manchester, I will play for City for 5 or 10 Years".

All bovine faeces. Great player, just don't tackle him, don't close him down and he will give you the football equivalent of the Harlem Globetrotters. Pretty useless if you want to win something.

Yeah, i mean he made the first goal, had one disallowed and scored a brilliant 2nd.

He's fucking useless.

World class or not. It dosen't really matter. In January he had the chance to stake a place in the team in Semi's against the rags and couldn't be arsed.

If anyone wants to look at why we didn't beat the rags in the first leg by more than one goal, don't blame Mancini's tactics blame Robinho.

I was in the Robinho camp and more than prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt with all his problems but he blew his golden chance.

Make no mistake he's not one of us and never will be.

We're flush for cash so send him out on loan to EB Streymur (sp) next season.

The press will now make him out to be the new "messiah" and try yet again to put City down.
